About Me
Hi, I'm Logan - Founder of 80/20 Health Hunny!
Mom, Wife, Healthcare Professional, & Holistic Health Coach
80/20 Health Hunny was created at the intersection of clinical healthcare, holistic health, and real life. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree, work in a hospital and am a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). Beyond my credentials, I am someone who has walked through several health challenges. For more than half of my life, I have navigated these health challenges and undergone many surgeries – all at a young age. Between those experiences, working in healthcare, having chronically ill family members, and personally understanding how defeating illness can feel – I knew I needed to take my health into my own hands. I am deeply grateful for conventional medicine – it’s necessary and lifesaving. However, it wasn’t until I started learning how to protect my body from harmful exposures and support healing naturally that everything changed. I learned the hard way how confusing, overwhelming, and exhausting wellness advice can be.
For years, I have researched, tried new food, brands, products – determined to find options that are healthy, safe, and realistic without breaking the bank. I’ve learned the hard way how confusing, overwhelming, and exhausting wellness advice can be. While I do still enjoy the occasional delivery pizza and wine, the changes in my health and life have been nothing short of amazing. But what is even more meaningful is to be able to create a healthier home for my family.
My experience proved to me how powerful simple, informed choices can be – and how overwhelming wellness becomes when fear and perfection take over. I created 80/20 Health Hunny to help moms feel empowered, not stressed. I want to help them feel confident in their choices, healthy in their bodies and proud of the homes they are building. My philosophy is simple: 80% intentional choices + 20% grace = sustainable health.
The Details
I was born and raised in Michigan, U.S. I am a mom to a wonderful little boy and happily married to my husband, Chris. We love traveling, cozy evenings at home and spending time outdoors. Our goal in life is to live long active lives by taking care of our bodies both mentally and physically. You can usually find me practicing yoga, trying out a new recipe, spending time with my son, and cheering my husband on at one of his sports games!
