Do you experience abdominal pain, pressure, bloating, constipation or other gastrointestinal issues such as IBS?
Are you tired of feeling run down and sluggish?
Does it feel like your symptoms don’t really make sense and they happen no matter what?
Do you feel like you’ve tried so many things, but nothing has truly helped?
Here we will discuss 5 ways to get rid of bloating for GOOD and get you FEELING BETTER quickly!
1. Take a Magnesium Supplement
- Magnesium is a very important mineral in the body and is essential in helping regulate more than 300 enzymes in the body.
- We can get additional magnesium through food, food products and supplements.
- Natural Calm Magnesium Powder is highly recommended by countless people who struggle with digestive issues, including myself. It comes in the form of a powder, which makes it easy to digest and absorb. You mix about a teaspoon in with warm water and drink before bedtime. In the morning you should feel instant relief! This supplement calms the digestive system and acts as an “anti-stress” drink for the body.
- Pick up this supplement here and give it a go! There is also a gummy version here, for those of you who need or would like a different option.
2. Take a High Quality Probiotic
- Simply put, naturally your gut has “good” and bad” bacteria. Sometimes our gut bacteria can be out of balance, having more “bad” bacteria which can cause gastrointestinal pain and issues. Probiotics aid in gut health by supplying “good bacteria” into the digestive tract. This allows for the digestive system to stay in a healthy balance and function properly.
- You’ll find that probiotics are labeled with a number of CFUs (colony forming units”), allowing you to know how potent the product is. It’s good to start with a probiotic that is at least 25 billion CFUs, and work your way up if you need to!
- ProBioCare has a great probiotic that has worked wonders! You can find it at the Vitamin Shoppe or amazon. There is a standard version here, a women’s probiotic here, and a men’s version here. These are affordable and high quality products! Personally, I’d go with this standard version! Click here.
3. Take Oil of Oregano
- Oregano contains antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties which helps calm, heal and balance the digestive tract. Another way of putting it, oregano oil helps to correct an overall imbalance of bacteria, fungal or parasitic infections in the intestinal lining.
- Oreganol: Oil of Wild Oregano is highly recommended. You can find it here through the vitamin shoppe, or on Amazon. Although it has a bit of an aftertaste, it’s well worth taking and you will noticeably tell a difference in how you feel in combination with a probiotic.
4. Do an Elimination Diet
- Elimination diets are an excellent way to find out exactly what food group could be causing any digestive issues you may be having. Sometimes, it doesn’t have to be a food that is causing your problems.
- It could often just be an imbalance in the gut microbiome, known as dysbiosis. An elimination diet is when you eliminate the top food allergens from your diet for at least 3-4 weeks, then you start reintroducing them one by one to see how your body reacts. This will give your body time to reduce inflammation and heal the gut lining, creating a strong barrier between you and the outside world.
5. Practice Yoga
- There are several yoga poses that support healthy digestion and can relieve gastrointestinal discomfort. It helps much more than you might think to relax in these poses and just breathe!
Conclusion
Having a healthy digestive system is essential to an overall healthy body! It helps your body function to full capacity, eliminates toxins in the body, and allows all organ systems to be regulated!
Choose to do one or all of these tips! If you are really struggling and all are done in combination, there’s no doubt that you will start to feel better!
